Thomas Waters is a Pittsburgh-based artist who has been creating photographic and mixed-media work since 1977. Trained in commercial photography and self-taught in other artistic disciplines, his work combines photography, screen printing, digital printing, and found materials.

Waters explores ambiguity, identity, and the relationship between objects and images. His work often transforms familiar objects, toys, and dolls into large-scale images, drawing attention to their texture, imperfections, and unique details. Rather than telling a specific story, his work invites viewers to look closely and create their own interpretations.

His portfolio includes photographic and fine-art prints, mixed-media pieces, and experimental printmaking.
