Meet Our Gallery Team
We are pleased to introduce Leigh Roche and Lindsay Goranson, our volunteer Co-Directors of the WSCC Gallery. Together, they bring extensive experience in visual arts, education, exhibitions, community engagement, and arts programming.
Lindsay Goranson
Lindsay Goranson is a Pittsburgh-based interdisciplinary artist and arts programmer with experience in exhibition production, community engagement, theater, and nonprofit arts organizations.
Her work includes artist coordination, exhibition and event scheduling, installation, public programming, partnerships, and community engagement. She has founded and led interdisciplinary arts projects and has worked with organizations including Handmade Arcade, New Hazlett Theater, and Defy Film Festival.
Lindsay holds a BA in Speech Communication, Broadcasting, and Theatre from Metropolitan State University of Denver, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude. She brings a strong background in creative programming, collaborative projects, and volunteer-led arts organizations to her role with the WSCC Gallery.

Leigh Roche
Leigh Roche is a Pittsburgh-based mixed-media artist, writer, and educator. Her sustainable art practice incorporates drawing, storytelling, symbols, textured surfaces, everyday materials, and text, exploring themes of identity, social justice, feminism, memory, and self-expression.
Leigh’s work has been exhibited in galleries and arts organizations in Pittsburgh and nationally. She has also created environmental installations, murals, and collaborative community art projects. She holds a BFA from the University of Pittsburgh and a master’s degree in arts education from Teachers College, Columbia University.
With more than 30 years of experience in art education, Leigh has worked with schools, museums, and community organizations. She is passionate about creativity, art education, social empowerment, and building strong connections between art and community.
