Frick Park Lawn Bowling Club: Indoor Short Mat Bowls
Enjoy the classic game of lawn bowling in a relaxed, warm indoor setting during the colder months! Hosted by the historic Frick Park Lawn Bowling Club (a Pittsburgh fixture since 1938), indoor short mat bowling is played on a 45 ft. × 6 ft. indoor rink where the surface runs fast, the bias is lively, and the games are great fun. Whether you’re an experienced bowler or brand-new to the sport, everyone is welcome to join for casual matches, friendly competition, and community connection. All equipment and basic instruction are provided—just bring flat-soled shoes and your enthusiasm!
