Exhibition at the WSCC Gallery
The WSCC Gallery is proud to present Art by Harry Edward Woods, a two-month exhibition celebrating the lifelong creativity of a self-taught and deeply dedicated artist. Running February 18 through April 18, 2026, the exhibition features a diverse collection of works that reflect Woods’s passion for storytelling through art.

Beginning to draw at just five years old, Woods developed an early fascination with capturing the world around him. His early sketches, inspired by the imagery of World War II, often depicted airplanes and scenes of motion and machinery. Over the years, his artistic practice expanded to include landscapes, trains, everyday life scenes, portraits, and carefully executed paint-by-number compositions.
Though life led him away from pursuing art formally, Woods continued to create throughout the decades, painting in quiet moments and sharing his work with friends, family, and eventually a wider audience. Recently, he has returned to producing original compositions with renewed energy and enthusiasm.
